Phase C: Monitoring Mold Remediation Project

The purpose of mold remediation is to remove the mold growth and restore the property to a normal condition. Of the utmost importance is the repair of the defect or defects that created the moisture problem in the first place.

As a property owner you need to perform due diligence and find the right company to perform the mold remediation. Some remediation companies will tell you not to hire a company that does both assessment and remediation. Their logic that it's a conflict of interest is something we disagree with. The conflict of interest is neutralized with independent third party verification.

As environmental consultants we are consistently called upon to perform post-abatement assessments on other remediation companies. Unfortunately we find more sub-standard work then what we would like to see in our industry. In fact, seeing the lack of competent mold remediation companies available to our clients was the catalyst for Advanced Mold Diagnostics starting its Mold Remediation division years ago to satisfy the needs of our clients.

Our environmental consultants won't hesitate to instruct clients on how to do it themselves should they be so inclined, which can result in substantial savings. We also offer support services including:

  • Development of the Scope of Work
  • Mold Remediation Planning and Coordination
  • Monitoring/Overseeing of Mold Remediation Project

Once your remediation project is finished we can perform post-abatement assesment to determine if clearance criteria has been met.
NOTE: We will not check our own remediation work. You must have an independent third party verify our effectiveness.
